Honda Cars Best Designs Through The Years

≡ Category: Uncategorized |Comments Off

Honda in general is a very reliable brand with an excellent track record. Honda’s first car was released in 1963. Honda is also the first manufacturer from Japan to have a specific luxury brand attached to it, Acura.

Honda’s are designed with gas mileage in mind. With minimal maintenance, Honda’s run almost forever. Honda also produces vehicles with a large market in mind. From luxury sedans from Acura, to light duty trucks, to minivans, Honda makes it all. In the beginning the most popular vehicle from Honda was the mid sized truck, but in the late 60′s that all changed. Honda produced a midsized vehicle to compete with it’s major competitor, Toyota, and beat them out in sales. Since 2008 the aim has been to build small sized cars, and electric hybrids. Again Honda produced a vehicle to meet demands and compete with Toyota. Around the same time Honda was given both the truck of the year award, and the car of the year award by Motor Trend Magazine.

Honda was also given an award for having more fuel efficient vehicles than any other brand between years 1984-2010. Five of the top 10 most fuel efficient vehicles come from Honda.

Remember how there were holograms so real you thought an actual billboard was attacking you or how the cars no longer needed wheels and hovered and flew around like airplanes? There’s still four years to go before that possible future can be ruled out entirely and while we may never have flying cars available to the general public, Honda has managed to make some incredible breakthroughs in the future of cars.

With so many cars on the market these days, you have your choice between traditional vehicles that run on gas and alternative forms of fuel like electric. Now, more than ever, You Get the Power To Choose and Honda makes it easy. No other automaker on the planet is more deeply invested in the effort to achieve a cleaner, more energy-efficient vehicle than Honda which is why they recently unveiled the 2013 Honda Fit EV Debut.

The Fit EV can meet the needs of the average urban commuter with an estimated driving range of 123 miles on a single battery charge. This means that speeds and efficiency can be maintained without sacrificing distance or driving time and, more importantly, it’s another step toward a cleaner and brighter future for cars.
